This Privacy Notice explains how MapleScore (operated from 847 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2W9, Canada) collects, uses, and protects data that we receive when you visit our platform at sextantroom.com. MapleScore is a free social entertainment service. Because we do not accept payments, we do not collect financial data of any kind.

MapleScore does not require account registration. Visitors access the platform directly without providing personal information. The following technical data may be processed when you visit:
We do not collect: names, email addresses, telephone numbers, payment details, or any other personally identifiable information unless you contact us voluntarily at our email address.
Technical data collected during your visit is used exclusively to: (a) operate and maintain the MapleScore platform; (b) identify and resolve technical errors; (c) protect the platform from abuse or malicious access attempts. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, to personalise content based on behaviour tracking, or to share with data brokers.
If you contact us by email, your email address and the contents of your message will be used to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list unless you explicitly request it. We retain email correspondence for a maximum of two years.
Where Canadian and/or European data protection law applies, our legal basis for processing technical data is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional platform. For any data you provide voluntarily (such as via email), our legal basis is your consent and/or the performance of a service you have requested.
MapleScore operates from Canada, which provides an adequate level of data protection for European visitors under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not share data with advertising networks. We do not share data with social media platforms for tracking purposes. We may share data with: (a) our hosting provider, who processes server logs on our behalf under a data processing agreement; (b) law enforcement or regulatory authorities if legally required to do so.
Any third-party providers we work with are selected for their compliance with applicable data protection standards.
Server log data is retained for a maximum of 90 days before being automatically deleted. Email correspondence is retained for up to two years. localStorage data exists only in your browser and is under your control — you can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; withdraw consent at any time; lodge a complaint with your relevant data protection authority.
